As a Citizen...

In addition to his Judicial duties, Judge Elliott has dedicated himself to community service. He presented dozens of Eagle Scout and God and Country Awards while serving on Boy Scouts of America Council boards. He devoted years of service to Scouting’s “Tribe of Mic-O-Say” honorary camping program and was named Council Chieftain in 1997.

Judge Elliott has assisted with countless community activities and youth projects and provided “color commentary” for hundreds of area high school basketball radio broadcasts. For over 15 years he has written a monthly “From the Bench” article for circuit media sources designed to better inform citizens about the judicial system and changes in the law.

Judge Elliott is a member of the Culberson Methodist Church in Stewartsville and has chaired numerous church committees. He is an experienced lay speaker and has officiated over dozens of marriages and funerals for friends and family. In his spare time, the Judge enjoys hunting, fishing, and working with his son, Connor’s, bison on their farm near Stewartsville.
